June is the first month of summer. The fields take on the typical golden color of the hot months, and poppies, lavender and yellow broom tinge the countryside. Bars and restaurants open their outdoor spaces and sagre and festivals animate villages and towns. Besides, June is definitely the month to be in Pisa.
September is usually one of the most pleasant months of the year to be in Tuscany. It is a popula month for village festivals and weddings and it is the season of the grape harvest.
